Hello All,

I've done a few searches here to see if anyone hit on this specific topic before but to no avail. Since my C26 is close to 40 years old, I've been thinking about sinking two more bolts into the cast iron keel. My question is, has anyone tapped new holes into a keel? If so, was it the hardest thing to do, or was it something somone with a good amount of mechanical know how be able to undertake? Thanks for reading;)

If the condition of the existing bolts give you cause to distrust them, you probably should focus on replacing them in toto. The passage of years gives you reason to inspect them yes, but simply adding new ones is most likely a complete waste of time.
