Age:62 feleing good, hope to get out of the rat race.
I will be buying my first large boat in the next few months 38' to 40' small disel, aft cabin, heat & air. speed is not a factor. I am looking at 35,000 to 40,000 Grand 70's model. (No Sails)
May be Albine or Mariner. Will hope to find a good slip, live-board. Have a bugget planned out. Any one have a word or two, for this old guy.

I don't get the no sails thing...but I would whole-heartedly recommend a guy named Pat O'Neal at Sea Lake Yacht Sales as a broker. He brokered my recent purchase and is a true salt-of-the-earth kind of guy.

Also, use a guy named Lou Stahlberg for your surveyor. Another awesome guy (ex-USCG) who did a great job on our boat.

Enjoy the hunt. It's great when it's over.
