Target Audience: UK Sailing Tourist
QUESTIONNAIRE PURPOSE
I am a final year student at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University studying Business Management with Marketing. As part of my studies I am required to complete primary research. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of sailing tourism on regional development in UK coastal areas and how local governments / tourist organisations can further improve the tourist experience.
Through this primary research I would like to answer these three questions:
1. Which factors are most important to a tourist when deciding on a sailing destination?
2. How does this tourist segment influence other industries in the region?
3. What can local governments/tourist organisations do to further improve the tourist experience?
