It's hard to get it out of your system isn't it? I almost got myself killed on my boat. Didn't slow me down one bit, and that was 16 years ago.......i2f

The Old Man & the Sea.
Sailed for 40 years- 5 years lake racing with 4 friends on a 30'. Owned 3 sailboats a Nautical, a 42' & a 46' Tayana. Done about 15,000 ocean miles-crossed the Atlantic 3 years ago with friends in a 43' HR .Thought my sailing was to be confined to chartering with my 3 children & 7 grand kids,but decided in May to buy a 2000 Beneteau & spend 3 months of the year sailing with my wife & grand kids, kids & friends. Would like to return to the US&B VI's
& am equipping my Beneteau for ocean work. Need to talk with sailors who have completed similar journeys.
