My Toyotomi Cabin Heater ran all night and then the next morning I turned the thermostat down and the heater turned itself off and refused to refire. Therefore, I did the usual stuff, checked the fuel filter, voltage, pump and still will not fire. So I pulled it out and took it to the dealer. The heater fired right up for the dealer. Took it back to the boat and reinstalled it. Fired up and ran until I turned the thermostat down and once again, it has refused to fire. I watched it very carefully and could see the fuel being pumped up but no spark. Any ideas what the issue could be? Thanks.

Could it be some type of protection feature that senses over temperature?
OR something similar that steps in to prevent unit from firing up?
Since it works until everything is all hot and you turn it down.

I guess it could. I was talking about it to a few folks and they were thinking it was a flame sensor lock out. The boats put away for the winter now. Maybe it'll correct itself (HA) over the winter. Thanks for the reply.
