Somewhat hard to find recording by Mark-Almond I use to play in my non commercial radio days. Does not seem to be available on I tunes or Amazon as a download. After several years I got tired of waiting and just recently purchased an LP copy of the album so I can put it on my on board MP3 player and play it at anchor on those peaceful nights.

Absolutely splendid album. I've still got my vinyl and I think CD as well but alas my collection is still a shambles after we moved house last year.

Mark-Almond btw were a Jazz/Rock band of the 1970s. Fine playing is what I remember most and a ripper of a version of Billy Joel's "New York state of Mind". Not to be confused with the English singer Marc Almond.

Mike, if I can find the CD I'll try uploading it to Drop Box. I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks Andrew. In the meantime the LP I bought on Ebay is also on it's way. Mark and Almond also played on the classic John Mayall album Turning Point which I transfered from my CD onto my Sansa player too. Not a bad cut on that album either. A few bluesy tunes on that album are great for listening to at night while at anchor. Even if they are not in a nautical theme.
