New to Sailnet. Trying to retire and failing miserably; too busy to be miserable and besides what good does that do.
Currently own a 2004 Hunter260 which is for sale as we intend to look for a mid 80’s Hunter 34.
The 260 is a great daysailer/weekender but we are now on bigger water – Lake Ontario instead of Kawartha Lakes – and plan to spend a lot more time aboard.
Ex-navy, :) so I have seen a good deal of water go by. Mrs S was raised around boats – family business – although she is relatively new to sailing. At one stage, I raced 420s – that gives away my age - and 470s. I do not do the trapeze bit anymore.
Now involved in club racing and plan to cruise further afield in the Great Lakes.

Welcome aboard, Spinwing. Good site, this. You will enjoy it. Sounds like you bring some interesting experiences to the place. Look forward to hearing some of your tales.
