The canals were delayed because of high water. Here's the latest email from The Canal Auth.:

Yeah, I was hoping to get in this week for moving through Seneca-Cayuga this weekend. Then the first alert the other day, was delayed til Monday. I debated just staying up there the weekend to move on Monday. Glad I decided against that, I'd have wasted a lot of time not moving anything. Oh well, gives me another day to shake out any last minute concerns before next weekend.
I was hoping to move on the 9th and 10th. Not going now. Going to wait till the following week now. I expect them to push it out another few days to a week.

The water is still high and the rain hasn't really stopped.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. I know it's supposed to rain on and off through the weekend, but I think it clears by Monday for a few days, so I'm HOPING that it stalls long enough for them to keep on schedule. I'd REALLY like to get out there soon lol.
