Hello,

I'm getting tired of my old boat with its leaks, aging hardware etc...

I have been offered this awesome slab 11.5 for free!!! It was built from plan by the current owner who says she is too young to sail.

No sails but comes with a great anchor. Anyone knowledgeable with this boat? Any particular issue with the design? What should I be looking for?

The hull and deck are one piece and the cabin top is nailed on. Can I take this boat across the Pacific?

Looks great.. Will be equally stable and accommodating upright or inverted!

But don't think for a minute that you could pull it off without a " new gen" anchor ;) :p

!!!! Wow thanks I totally forgot about that one!

I remember reading about them, I think it was in Latitude38.

If it's still there when I get my new sail for the "other boat" I think I'll make the trip across the bay to see that thing.

It reminds me of a movie I watched when I was a kid...
