I have a 50 foot sailing yacht and a lust for sailing to far off places. Would you care to join me? I do not NEED crew as I can handle my boat by myself. I do need watch-keepers though. Perhaps you grew tired of maintaining your own boat and have retired from ownership? I am in the Caribbean at the moment and contemplating sailing from Colon Panama to Honduras for haul-out. Do a bit of cruising around the Bay Islands then return to transit the canal in January. Next cruise across the Pacific to Fiji and beyond. This is all a long term plan although I am happy to have the company for any part of my journey. All input towards passage planning will be appreciated from experienced and inexperienced people. This is a shared opportunity.

Everyone is a slave

I am a slave to my boat also, bless her !
We have a symbiotic relationship. I need her and she needs me. I have just posted details of a passage from Panama to Honduras for haul-out. just another leg of my journey through life.
You may be a slave to a wage but with that comes a pension, I just have my boat and my wits to live by. Just a different way of life I guess. i work everyday and my energies are absorbed by my boat, my reward is my freedom!
