My wife and I are doing 2 weeks on the coast from panama city fl to keys and back. Need my fellow sailors to give me ideas of neat places to stop along the way. Any help will be much appreciated

We arent fixed on actually making it to the keys. Just that direction. Its funny cause my wife and I were. Just talking about that and it reminded me to check the post. One place we wanna stop is crystal river.

If your wife wants to see manatees, take her here: Manatee Viewing Center - Tampa Electric right now! If you are coming in the summer, or even in the spring when the water is starting to warm up, then whether or not you will see manatees is pretty hit and miss. They spread out and move around once the water starts warming up.

Great Idea. I think we can make it that far. Do you know if you can get in the water with them or not? Just curious,
