I looked through the past threads to try to find this but I couldn't find what I was looking for, maybe someone can give some advise? I just bought a 1975 Cape Dory 25 as a project boat to keep me busy. Like the rest of us I want to keep the cost to a minimum. I wondered if anyone used Valspar marine top side paint? I got some at Lowes. very cheap, I am thinking about starting on the inside and see how this paint works. Also should a primer be used first? any thoughts???
