Below the seat, just to the side of the pedestal. Good because no one sits there because of the wheel but it can snag feet as you squeeze by. On the front side of pedestal. If tubes are too narrow, then wire-tie cable to the guard on outside. Agree with other poster: convenient to access from helm. Move it around, dry place it to see what works best.
