I have a vigil radar with a remote control that seems to not work now. Vigil was made by Mars Electronics who is out of business . Does anyone know where I can send this remote for repair or replacment, and yes I did replace the battery.I live in Southern Calif.

I too am in Southern Calif. I maybe able to help you if you can help me with my vigil radar, I have an extra remote.
Also I have a vigil radar on my boat and the screen only show it as half screen dose anyone have an idea why it's only half.

I also have that same problem and have just started seriously troubleshooting. I have just found the antenna to be not rotating, Its not jammed, but I can hear gears ratcheting/clicking if I try to help the antenna turn. While turning the antenna by hand, I noted the screen suddenly went to a full circle. I suspect the motor is seized. Any guidance on fixing this issue would be most appreciated.

I am in the process having a Vigil US-32 radar removed from our "new-to-us" boat and am looking to sell the system. It was reported to me by the surveyor that it all works fine. If someone that owns one that is still in use wants a full set of spares including two remotes and two monitors let me know. All I want for it is the cost of having it removed...about $450.

I am very much interested in Vigil Radar parts. I have a Vigil RX 32 mile range unit purchased new in 1989. It still works fine except for a defective vertical ossilator function in the crt monitor. I would be happy to pay for your spare monitors, remotes, etc, and if they're still available would appreciate you contacting me ASAP either by email to: [email protected], or via this board.

I am definitely interested. Could you confirm that someone actually turned the unit on and confirmed that you have a normal radar picture on the screen, before having it removed?
