I''m going to be removing the exhaust manifold in my 26 year old Volvo MD-11c to clean out the raw water deposits,(salt and worse), and I was wondering what is the best way to remove the offending material. I''v heard of drilling out the deposits, but I''m not sure what that entails. I''m also wondering how to clean out the passages around and thru the block without taking more than the manifold off. Any thoughts from the vast expierences of this board are extremely welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.
