West Marine - Big sale on Lowrance HDS 5 unit, Friday only

Hey,

There have been a number of people asking questions about chart plotters / fish finder units. I am on the West Marine mailing list. Each Friday they have a 'Fantastic Friday' sale. This week it's a Lowrance HDS-5 unit:

LOWRANCE HDS-5 Gen2 Fishfinder/GPS Chartplotter with 50/200kHz Transducer | West Marine

I have no affiliation with WM. This seems like a really great deal. The HDS 5 has both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 interfaces, supports wifi, comes with the transducer, etc.

For $350 I don't know how you can go wrong!

NMEA2000 AND includes Nautic Insight charts, and a 200 khz sounder. that is a screaming deal.
