Royce's Sailing Illustrated. Quirky, slightly disorganized, FULL if info. I have dozens of book on boats and sailing, Royce's is the only one that is completely worn out from my continual thumbing through it. Get both the small format "book" and the larger format "workbook".

I think that was a book? :p
The best beginner sailing book! Hands down is "Breaking Seas: An overweight, middle-aged computer nerd buys his first boat, quits his job, and sails off to adventure" by Glenn Damato. It's a great read! You'll learn a lot too. Plus it's really exciting. :D

I loved this. Bought for my kindle for a bit of light reading. Read it non stop until I was finished. I just couldn't put it down. Great story and I'm sure a few of us can relate.

Well maybe not all you fine, dashing, folks. :laugher
