The Palmer Johnson staysail lever on my 1978 36' boat is corroded and needs to be replaced. There is a cut-out in my deck where it used to be, so I would like to find another one like it. I have checked a few used marine parts stores and on line but no one has one.
Does anyone have any suggestions about where I can find one?
I am attaching a photo of this bad boy.

FWIW a company called C Sherman Johnson also makes these. I suspect this is going to require an extensive troll though all the marine consignment stores/museums you can find...

The picture looks more like a housing than a lever. Any machine shop should be able to make a "lever" in bronze or stainless, whatever suits you. Or possibly refinish the old one. It would be easier to tell, from a picture of the lever itself.
