I have a canvas winter cover for a Pearson 28 in excellent condition for sale for $1000 obo. It was used only one (1) winter and was purchased at a price of $1820. It is constructed for use with the factory bow pulpit and stanchion configuration of the Pearson 28 (not the 28-2, though it may fit anyway). It has a starboard side zippered door. It works like a large boom tent to enable easy work on the boat. It has a short elasticized skirt that reaches about 12 inches below the rub rail. It was made in December of 2010. The description from the original invoice is as follows:

"Over the boom tent style cover in Sea Gull Grey Top Gun Marine Polyester. Cover to be fabricated with 6 Vent Aire Vents, entry door, cut-outs for the headstay, shrouds, topping lift and backstay. Cover will be designed to wrap around the mast and zippered closed with a # 10 YKK zipper. Cover will also be fabricated with a 12 inch draw cord skirt (with cut outs for the bow pulpit and stanchions), storage bag, a fwd halyard loop and a mast collar. Boat Type [1979] Pearson 28"

This is a top quality cover that will pay for itself over shrink wrapping after one or two seasons. It is located in Connecticut.
