I've tried calling tech support, leaving messages, and also starting a thread on the forum on the RM web-site, but getting no help with this issue. I cannot find anywhere in the instructions to show how to wire the tiller drive to the course computer. This was very straight forward with my ST2000, but there is no description anywhere in the installation manual or anywhere that I can find online throught their documents files. The real kicker is that there are three connections on the back of the receptacle for the tiller drive, but only 2 inputs on the ACU-100. Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Like I said on the RM forum, a picture would be worth a thousand words.

They show you which two pins to use here:

It is on page 9, and then page 10 shows you the wiring to the course computer.

Holy, cow- thanks, Alex! That did not come in the box and when I searched through the available installation/user manuals for the EV-100, nothing like that came up. How did you locate that in your search??

I just went to Raymarine support and looked up manuals for autopilot drives, then clicked on the one for tiller drive.

Their website isn't the best, perhaps using Raymarine stuff for a few years has just gotten me to used to using it.

My X5 autopilot also came with an odd mix of manuals and parts. It felt like they sort of threw in the basics that were required, plus other random stuff to fill up the box.

Great-- can't wait to start using it... I'm sure figuring out how to set it to an apparent wind angle will be an adventure, too!

If it uses the same P70 control as mine then that is trivial. Go into the menu on the control and it will be the first option. If you dig around a little bit you can change the left soft key to just be "follow wind direction" (by default it is "Track", which means do what the GPS says to do).
