I just got a new LinkLite and I'm attempting to learn how to live with it.

For house I have two 160ah gel cell batteries.

The installer set my capacity of the LinkLite at 320ah. because the capacity on the batteries is 160ah.
The batteries are 2017 batteries however and there is no way they have that capacity.

How do I test the capacity of this battery bank?
Maybe I should just set the capacity to 256 which is 80% which is probably at lot closer to actually capacity.

Wow. Mine are kinda shot by then. But I'm full time on board. (except atm).

An accurate cap test is a timed discharge from 100% Full down to 10.5V

immediately recharged, performed very infrequently

using a Constant Current load device, ideally at the 20-hour rate.

Very difficult to do onboard, need shore power of course.

A coulomb-counting wattmeter gives only a rough approximation

80% SoH is usually time to replace, maybe 70% if you want to push it, not cruising for months to primitive locations
