Does anyone with a 37 use a jib with the sheets led thru the blocks that are inboard of the caprail track? What size sail is it? Advantages to using it vs the big genoa with the sheets led on the caprail blocks. I already have a staysil with it's sheets led thru the blocks on the coach roof.

The 110% Yankee that I used on Crazy Fish was always run outside.

Currently using a 125% Genoa on a roller furling and its run to outside.
The Genoa is on boat as its based in San Diego and a lot of the sailing is on the Bay with a lot of tacking.

For cruising I would go back to yankee and staysail, a nylon drifter and maybe something closer to a code 0 sail.

I tried using those in your blocks with a 110 Yankee and it was fine when going to windward but as soon as I easeed the sheets it was catching on the shrouds so I went back to the blocks on the Rail. The inner blocks seem useless to me so I removed everything except th e track to save my toes.

PS. 37, Kenlanu
