Can anyone tell me the typical LPG tank size normally found on an Islander 30 Bahama? I'm window ("Internet"?) shopping for tank lockers and trying to get over the sticker shock but need to know what size I'll need.

I think tank size selection would be better made by figuring out how much propane you use.
When we were living aboard, we'd typically have to refill our 20# tank about every 90 days. That's daily use for cooking for two people, typically making coffee in the morning and a dinner in the evening. Of course, your eating habits may be different and could require more/less gas per day.
Since tank lockers can eat up a fair amount of storage space, I think I'd go with the smallest size you need to keep gas aboard between fills.

I have a system that was installed by the prior owner that has two 2 and a 1/2 gal tanks. When I go cruising usually about 8 days, we usually use 1 full tank and about 1/2 of the other. We use it for breakfast and dinner along with a bbq on the back. Sorry didnt think to take pics but will next time down to the boat.

I have one of the relatively new fiberglass tanks in the port side cockpit locker in a vented holder I built out of fiberglass. Although the tank is the same size as the standard 20 lb tank, it only holds 11 lbs. I regularly go out cruising for 30 days at a time (summer) and use the propane for the two burner stove/oven as well as a Newport 12,000 btu cabin heater. Not that I use the heater often in the summer, but I have yet to run out. The option I carry is an adapter to be able to spin on one of the 1 lb disposable cans if I do run out.
