ebay purchase gone bad: 1/4" G43 anchor chain

However, for anchors or chain, I believe that WM is a better option. No hassle returns, free shipping to the store, and their pricing seems to have improved lately.
Completely agree! The shipping cost for heavy, bulky items usually kills any potential savings from buying elsewhere. Plus, dealing with return shipping can be a huge pain compared to just taking the item back to a store, even when the seller is willing to prepay.

You can also save a lot at WM with their periodic one day sales for 10% off online orders (usually excluding most electronics and outboards). This stacks on top of the percentage store credit you already receive if you belong to their loyalty program. I bought my Rocna during a 10% off sale and ended up getting it cheaper than I could elsewhere. WM also puts chain on sale a couple of times a season and last time I bought some found the sale pricing to be better than online sources. To take advantage of their sales you have to be diligent about visiting the website often as they don't necessarily advertise boring stuff like chain and can have odd start and end dates to their promotions. I'm not affiliated with WM in any way other than as a customer and "advantage rewards member".
