i was searching forum and google could not find so here my "question"
how to convert fuel consumption from g/kWh to Lit/h
should i sum "power kw x g/kwh" multiply or divide by the density of the fuel to get Lit/h
ei.
Fuel consumption 215 g/kWh
Rated power is 100 kW.
At 100 kW, fuel consumptuion is...
215 g/kWh x 100kW = 21500 g/h or 21.500 kg/h
0.85 kg/l is a typical figure for diesel
21.500 kg/h x 1 L/0.85 kg = 18.3 L/h ( 4.025 Imperial gallons or 4.834 US gallons)
should i this "21.500kg/h" multiply or devide by 0.85 to get Lit/h
thanks
