Marinco 4" solar vent

About four years ago, I installed a four inch Marinco solar vent in one of the hatches to help with ventilation. It now looks like the electric motor of the vent is dead. The panel is still putting out power, but the fan is not spinning even with the battery removed. Does anyone know of a replacement for the motor? I believe Marinco used to sell a kit with spare parts, including a motor, but that kit has been discontinued. Any technical specs on the motor would also be helpful.

Thanks much,
Joost

Mark,

I received the motor and installed it, the fan is spinning again. The motor is a 12 V DC RF-500TB-12560 model with brushes. If you type in the model number, you'll find multiple sites offering the motor - I got mine from Amazon. On the whole, I am not entirely pleased with it, though: it seems a bit underpowered, slightly too small, and the shaft is just a little too short to attach the fan blades securely (unless I glue them). At best, it's a temporary solution. I have been looking for a slightly heavier motor that fits more tightly, but have not found anything yet.
