We have a practically unused TP5000 tiller pilot in need of some help. (AKA Crazy Otto) After 45min he proceeds to do circles instead of maintaining course and we have to shut him down. What we would like to find is HP5000 hand programmer or the wiring diagrams to explore driving him with a sentence or two from the GPS. Anyone know what happened to Navico? It is my understanding a radio control box JB5000 would provide the same interface. (NEMA 180,182,183 supported). Check your junk box.

es I knew that but they don't have any docs on the product in their site. At least they could make the internal schematics available for discontinued legacy products for those who want to self maintain or interface.

I need to connect the TP 5000 (tiller pilot) to the JP 5000 box. The rear of the TP 5000 has a 8 pin round connector which connects to the HP 5000 (Handheld controller), but I don't have a cable to connect it to the JP 5000. I cannot find them online. Has anyone found those 8 pin connectors on-line anywhere? Maybe if I had the connector and some multi-stranded wire I could wire it direct, but I cannot find the connector anywhere.

I also have an older Garmin GPSMap 175 which has this straight 7 pin connector (two rows of brass contacts) and I cannot find that online either. All of the new Garmins use round 9 pin connectors. If anyone has an older GPSMap 175 straight connector they would part with, I would like to buy it.
