Has anyone mounted a second alternator on the 4-108 Perkins--while keeping the first one? I want a little more charging power and some redundancy and am debating between double pulleys and a second alternator.
Or has anyone mounted a really really big alternator (e.g. 200 amps) on the Perkins with double pulleys, etc?
