Having problems changing the water pump and alternator belts. Mainly just getting the alternator belt off. What bolts do I have to loosen?? Here is a pic of where I am now. The lower adjustment bolt is loose. What am i missing?? I plan on getting a crescent wrench and trying to loosen the bolt on top of the alternator is that what I need to do??? Not used to working on boat diesels lol. Cars seem much more logical.
