Well this year they canceled the in water boat show in September at Ontario Place leaving the indoor show at Exhibition Place next week. I can't believe that this is going to hold me over till spring but since I am a new boat owner I will be first in line with my credit card in hand... ;)

Anyone else in the frozen north going to hit up the show?

We will be there on Monday looking for a RIB. Got it narrow down to either a Carib, AB or Achilles 10 footer. Big boat bucks but I have the admirals total support. She didn't like getting wet in our air dighy when exploring Oak Bay in the North Channel last summer.

Go see Peter at Holland Marine Products. Take a look at his inflatables before you spend any cash. They are a great product at a good price.

We're heading down this Saturday and staying for the Hunter dealer reception after hours at 7:00. Going on the 16th with power boat friends and probably hit the Old Spaghetti Factory afterwards.

I know the sail representation is down, but it's still fun to check out the new boats, check out the vendors, new stuff from the manufacturers, probably hit Henrys for Fish & Chips, and besides it marks the halfway point between haul-out and spring launch....... :D :D

I bought our Titan RIB at CO2 Inflatables, partially for price and partially because they have a local store ( Midland ) to my boat and I borrowed their trailer to get it to the marina ( they deliver but I was pressed for time ). Nothing against Holland Marine. I'm sure there will be some good deals at the show.

We've had ours for 3 seasons and typically use and abuse it every weekend and a couple of week long trips. Usually run it up on shore, sand and gravel, rarely cover and quite often have to dump a ton of sand out of the bottom from people and animals tracking on board. It's held up well. Only regret is getting white instead of grey to hide the dirt.

I've had the flu and been stuck home so I am planning on taking my parents on Wednesday when they are down visiting and I have a day off. Anything I just shouldn't miss?
